DALLAS ‐ Success continues for Indie label Hulk Entertainment, as the label sends The Rap Pack, a lyrically talented trio of charming suit wearing young men and Dallas‐based R&B songstress, Ashley Kimbrae, to perform in the BET Music Matters Showcase on 106 & Park in March.
The Rap Pack, a versatile hip‐hop group from New Orleans, is signed to Hulk Entertainment for their perfect musical blend of style and substance. Not lacking for talent or confidence, they strive to set themselves apart from today's musical norm of glorifying drugs and demeaning women.
Songs such as “Black Women,” uplift and commend women for their continued efforts to keep families afloat; while “Floatin” offers an up‐tempo glimpse into the life and times of the talented New Orleans trio. Accompanied by a full band, the Rap Pack's live performance may be described in a word‐ Awesome! They have wowed crowds all over the country, including a recent Music Matters performance in New York at the legendary SOB's.
As talented as she is beautiful, Ashley Kimbrae is a former contestant on CW’s “The Next: Fame is at Your Doorstep”, where she made it to the national Semi‐ finals. Each week, her performances received amazing reviews from a panel of industry heavy hitters, such as Nelly, Joe Jonas, Gloria Estefan and John Rich. Combined, the Rap Pack and Ashley Kimbrae bring forth the image, energy and a new sound that some would call a breath of fresh air for music lovers.
Hulk Entertainment, A Premier Independent Record Label is responsible for the management of artist such as Dorrough Music and Tum‐Tum, who currently have their single “Yeaaah Doe” on the 106 & Park countdown, as well as Brian Angel‐ formally of Day 26 and a host of other emerging artists. - Courtney An'Janae
